Hi Everyone! It`s me Nadine, being honest I am not a professional webmaster or programer, just had to make some changes on the websites and became finding out how the world of Joomla works. I want to share my experience how to configurate the Category Block extension on the Joomla based website in order to organize an amount of articles you need to display.

Here is the example I want to share with you, may be somebody finds it useful.

Click here to take a look amantesdelmar.com/our-services

Step 1
You Download Category Block here www.joomlaboat.com/category-block
and install it on your Joomla based website. I downloaded Pro version which provides more additional options. But you may download a free trial version.

Step 2
If you installed successfully when you enter to COMPONENTS you will see CATEGORY BLOCK in the list.

Step 3
Create Category Block Profile
Click on COMPONENTS then CATEGORY BLOCK then NEW

Now you need set up the options as you want;
Show the category name NO
I set up amount of words 30
Columns 2
Read more YES
etc. all is intuitive and explained well

See the images "create profile" to compare 2 profiles
